The love of Carl's life was "his bride" Kathy and his precious daughter Chelsea.

Carl is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kathy Hughes Latham of Grenada, MS; 1 daughter, Chelsea Kathryn Latham of Arkansas; 2 sisters, Joyce Long and Cathy Sue Patton (Robert) both of Water Valley, MS; 3 brothers, Don Latham of Memphis, TN; Tommy Latham (Connie) of Water Valley, MS and Harold Cotton (Cherie) of Winona, MS ; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his step-mother, Loie Sandefer and 1 brother, James Cotton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, Samaritan’s Purse or Operation Christmas Child.
